WHO WE ARE
National Queer Theater is an Obie-award winning innovative theater collective dedicated to celebrating the brilliance of generations of LGBTQ+ artists and providing a home for unheard storytellers and activists. PRAISE FOR NQT
Michael Urie
Award-Winning Actor
“Queer theater is alive and well in the hands of National Queer Theater. I’m grateful for the work they do to enrich and celebrate marginalized voices within the queer community, giving them a place to shine, be safe and yes, escape”
Bill Rauch
Artistic Director, PAC NYC
“I have been a fan of National Queer Theater’s impactful work through this festival for the past five years. It is especially meaningful for us at PAC NYC to host the Criminal Queerness Festival, given our location at the World Trade Center and our mission to create connections across the world as well as across our city,”
